Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advocate for clients to resolve crises
• Counsel patients and clients in individual and group sessions to help them overcome dependencies, recover from illness, and adjust to life
• Refer patients and clients to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness
• Organize support groups
• Plan discharge from care facility to home or other care facility

Salary:

• $45,900 USD as of 2015

• Bachelors degree
