       If you want to succeed in life you must know where you are heading. You need to have your goals all set to do what you want to do. You need to do what your goals not anybody else. Because just like a ship is lost without his rudder you will be lost without your goals. For example, I know for a fact that without my goals journal i would be lost just like the ship. I for example, want to become a marine biologist and if i put my mind onto that goal i will become one. So all you have to do is put you mind onto that specific goal or goals.

In our developing world a lot of different things are happening good and bad. But the bad always stands out probably because we have a lot of cruel people. When our former first lady Michelle Obama was in the white house she didn't care what people had to say about her and her family all she knew was that she had to be herself wherever she went. she never belittled someone for their money, skin color, background,etc. she always  knew that she had to be kind because every person she met had a story and at least once in that persons story there had to be a point where the person was at their lowest. In the other hand we had Ellen Degeneres, she is always being kind to everyone who is at their lowest and knows did something incredible. For example, i remember seeing her show once where a lady was stereotyping another woman for being Muslim and so people were hearing everything the woman was saying and this one young lady told her to stop because the STEREOTYPES THAT HOLD DOWN A PERSON SHOULD NOT BE HELD AGAINST THEM. It might sound crazy but when the lady said that i cried because my ethnicity holds multiple stereotypes and i know for a fact that we shouldn't belittle someone for their color, religion, or disabilities, etc. because were basically breaking amendment number one.

FORGIVE: to stop feeling angry or resentful towards someone for an offense, flaw, or mistake.

you truly wont be happy until you forgive because if you forgive them then you wont be angry at them no more due to your kindness. And honestly i get it; that you will be angry for whatever reason. But you have to understand how they must be feeling. For example my mom hasn't forgiven my aunt for being a little too nosy in places and for talking behind our back but oh well. i honestly forgave her but my mom hasn't because she still mad. But she is only harming herself because shes the mad one not my aunt. so i say that we should start forgiving because one day it can be to late.

The great reasons to tell the truth:

1. Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict.
2. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished.
3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
4. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than lying (and getting caught).
5. Other people trust you more when you tell the truth.
6. You dont have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
7. You gain a reputation of being truthful - a trait most people value.
8. Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside.

These are just eight reasons why you must always say the truth. But I can assure you that there are many more from where that came from. Anyways, you must say the truth because if you dont you wont be a CTR person and once you lie too much it can get the point where all you do is lie. Furthermore, you wont be trusted by anyone. And that isn't a good situation to be at. Therefore, you must always tell the truth.

       We must learn that not everything will come to us and accept that. We must also know how to lose and how to win. Because if you win a lot of times then you will get used to it but if you know how to lose and win you will understand that that other person deserved to win because they won with honor and by not cheating. For example, you are a great student and you always have straight A's and one day you tell yourself oh i'm a good student i dont have to do that one assignment because the teacher will pass me. But if  your close friend who doesn't always have straight A's; one day gets straight A's you dont have to  be mad because they didn't have good grades until now. So dont  try to out beat them, that is not right. because your friend tried their hardest to pass that semester with good grades. So dont try to retake the quiz or do extra work because you dont feel comfortable not being the outstanding student. Because your friend is winning with honor by trying their hardest.

If your goals are in the right pathway and you do what is best for you to complete them then all your good fortunes will come to you. But you are not all completely done until you do a bit of help around the world. Which will be to do the right thing. Yeah it might sound intimidating to the right thing but what you can do is spread happiness and by being kind. UNTIL you have accomplished that that is when you will know that you done what is right for you to become a successful person in the nearest future.

                           Lets say that you as a student have a very important test and you didn't study at all. What will you do? Cheat? No, you must do what is right and try your best on that test. Sure you will be tempted to cheat and what not but you need to have good values so you need to ask your teacher if you can redo the test and if so you must study to pass it. In other words you must put you values first besides the feeling. you might feel like you will eat a burger or whatever but in reality you must discipline yourself and stay  healthy.

what this student success statement means to me is that you must choose the right to feel good about yourself. for example, I remember when Mr.Haymore showed us a video about a man who was homeless and a woman gave him money but she didn't realize that when she did her ring fell out; but the man didnt trade the ring or anything he saved it until he saw the woman again to give it back to her. AND HE DID!! The woman was so happy with the poor man that she and her husband made a fundraiser for the man for what he did. So basically the man had self dignity because he didnt do anything with the ring instead he saved the ring until the rightful owner came to him.

     When you do something wrong you dont ever gain something good. If you cheat in a test you will get the grade, but your heart wont be pure. You will feel bad about not being honest. But if you cheat in life it will come back to haunt you. You must always choose the right not the wrong because if you choose the wrong you are only causing others to piety you for all the bad you have done.

 when you do something right for somebody else who needs it at that very moment that is when you show good character. for example, when you see somebody injured and their team cannot do anything about it you need to step up because not only its the right thing to do but you will see that it shows what type of person you are. of course im not saying that you arent a good person but i am saying that you must help out one another because we all have feelings we all have a voice and we are all equal. I know that with all this change that is going on in the world we have divided ourselfs. I honestly think thats wrong because now than ever we must be able to unite as one. after all in the end we are fighting for what we believe in. And that is what happened here; sarah was injured badly yet two girls from the other team stepped up to help her because they knew that they were fighting for the same thing but they still decided to do what was right which was to help out the opposing team.

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

          You must always keep your word if you want to be a trusted person. If you said that you would get good grades to your parents then you must keep your word because all they want is the best for you by taking you to school. But if you dont keep your promise your parents will still love you just that their heart will hurt because you didnt keep your word. In addition, lets say you have a best friend and they tell you a secret of theirs because they trust you and you go out to spill it their trust to you will be broken. Therefore, you must be loyal to your word. if you say yes then keep that yes but if you say no then no is no. We as humans need to understand that we only have each other to depend on because a animal doesn't understand how we feel and they wont talk back by giving us advice. so yes you must know how to keep your word because i can promise that when you do keep your word you look bad in front of others as well as in yourself. so just keep your word

The 10 Indian Commandments

The 10 Indian commandments should be known more because they are good to follow. For example, they focus more on other than themselves. They rather help every living thing around them than to "have fun" or whatever it is that we do. If i were to be part of their tribe i would be proud to be a native american. I would encourage to people to go by these ten commandments now in days because now everyone is full of hatred that is caused by others around then. Yes, i understand how cheesy this sounds but its true me personally i put my friends and family over anything, i help my friends with their home and school issues, and i have always do what is right even if no one is standing by my side.

You don't need to be beautiful, strong, and rich to be a great person. A kind and pure heart is the only thing that matters because one day you will be ugly and one day you will be weak at you war and one day you will be poor. But if you have a good heart then that heart will always be with you and will help you make the right choices. For example, in the movie "Beauty and the Beast". One of the characters name was Gaston and he was beautiful, strong, and rich. But his heart was rotten he wants to kill the beast and not help out belles dad; but he was doing it because he wants belles hand in marriage. Of course Belle knew otherwise because of her pure heart and always told him that she would never marry Gaston. While the beast in the other had was ugly, he somehow managed to give Belle everything she wanted. He loved her so much that he was willing to die for her. Therefore, a  great heart beats everything. Even the great riches, great strength, and beauty are nothing compared to a heart of gold.
