DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  They conduct diagnostic test 
• Recording and measuring vision
• Test eye function
• Instruct patients in inserting and and caring for contact lenses
• They prepare examination rooms
• They clean and arrange the equipment
• Answering phones 
• Doing other task as needed

SALARY:

• median salary wages $30,590 as of 2015

EDUCATION:

• high school diploma
• 1 ~ 2 years of training program offered in community college or vocational school
