Duties and responsibilities:
- Meet with their patients to review their medical history
- They also answer any questions if they have any
- They position the patient in a comfortable manner and take pictures of their body part where they might have any type of pain
- They also meet up with a physical to make sure the pictures came out clearly, if not they take more pictures
- They help the doctors identify the type of disease or fracture the patient has.
- They are also in charge of the equipment to make sure that everything works properly.
Salary:
- Mean salary as of 2015 $58,520 for Radiologist Technologist
- Bachelor's degree but Associates degree is recommended
- Radiology programs offered (2 years to complete)
- Licence to operate radio logic machinery
